This was from earlier in the month, but I didn't get a picture of her on her little blanket.
-After Christmas we had to go back and get her shots and I asked them to throw her on the scale again and she was 12 lb 10 oz. She gained a whole pound over the holidays. I wish I could say I only gained one pound :)
-She has also started eating solid food. If you can call baby food solid. She's done really well and I think that is a contributing factor to her weight gain.
-While we were in South Carolina for the holidays she also rolled from her tummy to her back for the first time. Very exciting!
-She loves standing. She doesn't bounce or anything, but she really likes to be vertical. My siblings called it vertical planking because she would just be super stiff and not want to bend.
-She is a mover. She isn't a big fan of being in the same place for very long. She likes to be walking around.
-She's a great singer and very communicative. On a little development survey we filled out at the doctors office she scored really high on the communication section. We'll not talk about the gross motor or fine motor sections.
- She likes to study things. She'll be super smiley and happy and then we pull out the camera to get a picture and she gets very serious and curious about what that black thing is.
- Lately she's been waking up once at night- but she's also been going to bed much earlier, so I guess it all evens out.
- She was starting to get a little stranger awareness, but after the holidays with 30+ people running around the same house, she has gotten over that for the time being.
