5 WHOLE YEARS!!

Well, I'd say it's been a fairly productive and fantastic 5 years.
When Jared and I got married we wrote down our predictions/hopes for where we'd be in 5 years and I must say we were pretty close.
We're slightly ahead of the curve on kids- we both thought we'd have two and maybe be expecting the third.
We have the callings we thought we'd have. Jared in YM. Sara in Primary.
We're living where we thought we'd be living.
We're as happy as we hoped we would be.

Can't wait to see if we're as close on our estimations for our 10th anniversary!

Happy 5th Anniversary!!

To celebrate our anniversary we went to dinner at Olive Garden and then we went up to Sundance to see "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat".   Such a fun play with such a fun date!

Summer Vacation 2017

We started out flying to South Carolina.

7.16.17  Such terrible travelers...

We spent a few days there playing with Grandma and Grandpa Leckie and some of our Leckie cousins.

7.17.17 The kids wanted to swim so grandpa rigged up this little pool.  They had a blast!!
Next we drove to Kingsland, GA.  I'd estimated it to be about a 5 hour drive.  Between backroads and an hour long stop at McDonalds (where we ate dinner while Caroline barfed- just a little carsick) it was about 7 hours before we got to the hotel.  The kids were really great in the car though, and had fun swimming in the pool at the hotel.
The power of electronics!

We left the next morning to head to hotel #2 which was fairly close to the Orlando temple (and about 5 minutes from Disney World- kinda feel bad for not taking my kids while we were right there).  It had an awesome pool and we were able to play there for a little bit before heading to the temple for Derek and Haley's wedding.

Jared was supposed to help keep kids at a nearby church but ended up just sitting in the parking lot while our kids slept in their car seats.
After a few pictures outside the temple we headed over to Haley's aunts house for a nice dinner.  The drive was not so nice though, as a thunderstorm decided it was a good time for a deluge.  Nerve wracking ride, but yummy dinner and a nice time visiting with family.
The next morning we headed up to Panama City, FL.  Between rain, traffic, detours, and kids our 6 hour drive turned into about 8, but we made it to the Moonspinner condos where we stayed the rest of our trip.
We rented 3 units on the 8th floor and each had a nice oceanfront view.

Saturday night, July 22, we went to Derek and Haley's reception where a good time was had by all.

Sunday was family picture day...

Lots of sun, sand, food, family, and fun!  What more could you ask for?!?

Caroline snapped this picture... Jared did manage to squeeze in a few hours of work while we were there....
