Nebo Loop

We picked a perfect day to drive the Nebo loop.  It was stunningly beautiful!

Next adventure, please!

We had a week of honeymoon in Charleston, SC. (see the last post)
And then....
A week of family reunion in Gatlinburg, TN.

Then a week of party at Lake Powell.

And then..... a cold hard reality check the next monday when we both had to go back to work.  As a consolation prize we had an open house here in Utah and so the fun wasn't compleeetely done for another week.  My mom and dad came out for it and we had a fun time putting together our new little apartment.
(I'll work on getting pictures from the open house soon)

Charleston, SC

Jared and stayed in the Sea Cabins on the Isle of Palms near Charleston, SC.  It was lovely having an ocean front little condo.  We got to play on the beach, visit the Yorktown, wander the markets, watch the Olympics, stroll in the moonlight, eat good southen food at Jestine's kitchen, and watch lots of thunderstorms from our balcony.  A marvelous week, if I do say so myself.

We got ourselves hitched!

The happy day!

On the road again

After returning from Denver I had a week.  A week where I played a lot with Jared and where we packed up the Milton's household so we could drive to Jonesboro, Arkansas where Dan accepted a job teaching at Arkansas State University.
It was a LONG and VERY SLOW drive in what I not so affectionately refer to the "bucking bronco" or as Andrew would call it the "piskey truck" (Penske).
After we arrived in Jonesboro, we looked at a house that Emily and Dan were considering buying (they had no where to live at the time), unloaded the moving truck into a storage unit (conveniently and surprisingly owned by a member of the ward), and then Dad and I headed for South Carolina in the Saturn.

It was a lot of long driving days, but we made it!

Bridal Shots

While I was in Denver I met and became friends with an aspiring photographer.  Well, actually she's already a great photographer, but she had never done bridals and so we struck a deal- I would be her guinea pig and she would take some bridals.  It was really fun.  We went to a park in Englewood, Colorado and it was a beautiful morning.  We even had some sprinklers turn on while we were setting up for a picture- very entertaining.  Enjoy a very small sampling!
