St George- take II

In order to minimize our time spent at home without dad we decided to go down to St George when he did.  While he was working I went and played with the kiddos.  Caroline loved the Splash park even though she was beyond shivering. (The only picture I took is on my broken phone)  It was really really windy on the day I was planning to play in some sand dunes so she ended up playing in some landscaping instead.  She absolutely loved it! 

We stayed with Steve and Claire (Jennie's parents) and they had a beautiful view from their house.

Ben at One Month and Caroline at 21 months

We were preparing for a trip to St George on his one month day and then I didn't get a picture until we got back so this is actually Ben on March 28th so he's actually one month and 5 days old:

Someday Caroline and Ben will share a room and he'll sleep on this side of the room-

Ben's Two week stats

At Benjamin's well child check on March 8th his stats were:

Weight: 6 lb 13 oz (6%)

Height: 19 in (2 %)

I don't know what his head was.

But he'd gained almost a whole pound from when he was born.  

He's a good eater.

It was a beautiful spring morning that begged for green!

Jared has been exceptionally busy since the birth of Benjamin.  He probably averaged somewhere between 60-80 hour work weeks to complete a job at BYU before heading down to St. George to tile the baptistry in the temple there.

Blessing Day

Benjamin was blessed on March 8th by Jared.  His Grandpa Ridges, and uncles Mike and Chris also stood in the circle.  We blessed him in March so that Grandma Leckie could attend.

He was given a blessing of how he would have a competitive spirit and tenacity to defend and proclaim the gospel.
